Hi cardiologists I have a question for myself. I first visited doctor on 10 dec and my bp reading was 130/80 (i usually check my bp every 2 months) after that around 22nd dec I had digestion issues and I was stressed about that to think any serious stomach issue and costed doctor he took my bp and it was 150/100 and he gave me antacids and some antibiotics suggesting indigestion issues and asked to have lipid profile test, on 26th dec I went through test and my total cholesterol, ldl, and triglycerides were high and hdl was good 53. I was so tensed looking these numbers and went to doctor he measured my bp and it was 155/90. He ask to start medicine low dosage for a month and report. He started telmi 20 and storvas 10. I start medicines and did lifestyle changes like doing cycling daily for 10 kms walking 5000 steps daily and a lot of diet changes and lost 4 kgs weight as of now, I have a ques will my medication get stop? Or why did not recommend lifestyle change at first as I am 33.
